All About Me:  My name is Lynn Hughes and this will be my 12th year of teaching and my 8th year at Dripping Springs Middle School.  I was born and raised in Marshall, TX (deep East Texas) where I graduated from Marshall High School.  I then attended the University of Texas at Arlington and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Business.  During college, I worked as a Childcare Director for the YMCA of Arlington in the after school and summer camp programs which led me into the field of education.  The first 4 years of my teaching career were with Tyler ISD.  I have also completed my Masters in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University.  I am certified in the areas of Math, Special Education, Speech, and as a Principal.  I look forward to a great year and getting to know all of my students!

I am available Monday, Thursday, & Friday mornings from 8:30-8:55.

 

Afternoon Tutorials:

I am available for afternoon tutorials by appointment only.
